Invisalign is a popular orthodontic treatment that uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually shift teeth into their proper position. It is a popular alternative to traditional braces, thanks to its discreet appearance and convenience.

Invisalign is a great orthodontic solution to teens and adults.

Dr. Danoff is a Top 1% Diamond Invisalign Provider

When you choose a Top 1% Diamond Invisalign Provider, you know you are going to an orthodontist who has a LOT of experience and success with Invisalign. To be a Top 1% Diamond Invisalign Provider, an orthodontist must see at least 200 patients per year for Invisalign. In addition, the orthodontist must also provide at least 800 patients with Invisalign throughout their career.

Dr. Laura Danoff

Dr. Danoff is a Board Certified Orthodontist

There is a difference between a licensed orthodontist and a board certified orthodontist. Only about 30% of practicing orthodontists in the United States are board certified. Certification involves significantly exceeding the educational and achievement requirements and is rewarded after completing 3 additional years of education along with a qualifying examination.

Advantages of Invisalign

Invisalign has several advantages over traditional braces, including their discreet appearance, improved comfort, and convenience. They can be removed for eating and drinking, allowing you to enjoy all your favorite foods without any restrictions. They are also more comfortable than traditional braces, as they do not have any brackets or wires that can irritate your mouth.

Another advantage of Invisalign is that it can be used to treat a wide range of orthodontic issues, including crooked teeth, overbites, underbites, and gaps between teeth. This makes it a versatile option for many patients.

Who Can Benefit from Invisalign?

Invisalign is a great option for many patients, but it may not be recommended for certain complex cases or for patients who have bridgework, implants, or other dental restorations.

Patients who are good candidates for Invisalign include those with mild to moderate orthodontic issues.

During your initial consultation, we will assess your individual needs and recommend the best treatment option for you.

The Invisalign Process

Getting Invisalign at Danoff Orthodontics is fun and exciting as it marks the start towards achieving a straighter, healthier smile.

Our high-tech Invisalign process makes the entire process comfortable and stress-free. There is no pain involved in being fitted for Invisalign.

Step 1: Invisalign Consultation

The first step in getting Invisalign is to schedule an initial consultation with our office. During this appointment, we will evaluate your teeth and determine if Invisalign is a good fit for you. We will also explain the Invisalign process in more detail and answer any questions you may have, and discuss the expected timeline and cost of treatment.

Step 2: Your Custom Invisalign Treatment Plan

Next, we'll create a custom treatment plan that outlines the movements your teeth need to make to achieve your desired outcome. We use a high-tech digital scanner that creates a 3D model of your teeth and then using advanced computer technology, a series of clear aligners is created specific to you that will gradually shift your teeth into place.

Step 3: Receiving Your Aligners

After the brackets are in place, it's time to attach the archwire across the brackets. The archwire is what exerts gentle pressure on the teeth to move them into the correct position. Once the archwire is in place, we attach small elastics, called ligatures, to hold the archwire in place.

Step 4: Process Checkups

Throughout your Invisalign treatment, we will schedule you to come in periodically to check your progress and receive your next set of aligners. We will monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan to ensure that your teeth are moving as planned.

High-tech Equipment

At Danoff Orthodontics, we are proud to offer the latest in high-tech equipment to provide our patients with more precise ortho treatment and more predictable orthodontic outcomes.

One of our most exciting and innovative tools is the iTero 3D oral scanner, which we use for Invisalign treatments. This cutting-edge technology allows us to create highly accurate digital impressions of your teeth, without the need for messy and uncomfortable traditional (and goopy) impressions. With the iTero 3D oral scanner, we can provide you with a virtual preview of your Invisalign treatment and show you exactly how your smile will look after your treatment is complete.

In addition, we also have a panoramic x-ray machine, which provides us with a comprehensive view of your entire mouth, including your teeth, jaws, and surrounding structures. This information is essential in helping us to diagnose and treat a wide range of orthodontic conditions, including impacted teeth, jaw problems, and other orthodontic issues.

Whether you are interested in modern traditional braces or invisible braces known as Invisalign, we are here to help you achieve a beautiful, straight smile.

Invisalign Cost, Insurance, and Financing

The cost of Invisalign may be higher than that of traditional metal braces due to their advanced technology and materials. However, some insurance plans may cover all or part of the cost of Invisalign treatment. We will work with you to see if your specific plan covers any costs for Invisalign.

If you need to finance Invisalign treatment, our office offers CareCredit financing which offers low interest affordable monthly payments for those who qualify.

Invisalign vs. Traditional Braces

Invisalign and traditional braces have their own advantages and disadvantages. Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible, comfortable, and convenient, but may not be as effective for complex orthodontic issues. Traditional braces may be more effective for complex cases but are more noticeable and may cause discomfort.

Invisalign is a popular option for adults because they are much more visually appealing and far less noticeable than traditional metal braces.

During your initial consultation, we will discuss which treatment option is best for your individual needs.

At Danoff Orthodontics, we are committed to providing personalized orthodontic care to our patients. If you're interested in Invisalign or have any questions about the process, please don't hesitate to contact our office to schedule a consultation.
